You might have seen this brand all over Instagram. We’re happy to report that it is, in fact, really that good. This top may look like it wouldn’t provide a ton of coverage, but it’s very supportive and will even give you a little lift (we’ve tested it). Plus it comes in an iridescent pink or baby-blue. Cute. This one has a bigger price tag, we agree. But we can vouch for Mara Hoffman suits. They hold up wash after wash. Plus this style is timeless. A bandeau top won’t give you any strap tan lines (just always remember to wear sunscreen please), and you can pair it with pretty much any style bottom. ($140, Amazon)

Like wearing a sports bra to the beach, you’ll be able to swim, play beach volleyball, or even just enjoy a happy hour, all while feeling supported and secure. It’s seriously one of the most comfortable tops we’ve ever worn, and we love that it comes in nine different colors (including a standout red). FYI, we sized up for a better fit. ($88, Free People)

Marysia has been around for a long time, and for good reason. The brand is still serving up bathing suits with supportive tops and their signature scalloping. Grab the bottoms while you’re at it to make it a matching set. ($150, Amazon)

You might be wondering about the sizing guide for this swimsuit. Don’t be alarmed, but it comes in just one size. While you may be raising your eyebrows, we’ve actually worn it and can report that it really is incredibly stretchy, moving with you as you bend, twist, and find new positions to tan in. More than a few Skimm HQ editors have been wearing J.Crew swim for years now. Say you find yourself taking a surf lesson. This suit is your go-to. It’s made from recycled materials with a zippered front that lets you control how much chest you’re exposing. It also features UPF 50 sun protection, comes in four solid colors, and sizes 0–16. If you’re looking for something with “Baywatch” vibes, go for this retro one-piece with high-cut legs, cheeky coverage, and a low back. Have you heard? Aerie makes fabulous swimsuits for any age. This one has a fun crinkle fabric for a little texture, and comes in five pigmented colors to choose from. We love the orange haze. It fits like a sports bra but has removable pads if you want an extra lift. Customers say it works for those with larger bust sizes. ($36.95, Aerie)

The low-cut neckline of this top is offset with the ruffle. The high-waisted bottoms will accentuate your waist and keep you comfy all day. The set comes in sizes up to 4XL, and customers love that you can adjust the straps for just the right amount of support. ($42.99, Cupshe)
